RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – United States of America (USA) has also acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region on Tuesday. US officials have also come forward in order to tone down the tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan after Kabul blast, reported Dunya News.

According to the details provided by Defense Ministry spokesperson, Pakistan was praised for its role in Taliban-Afghan government talks during the Pak-US Defense Consultation Group’s meeting. US also acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region. It was said in the meeting that Pakistan has been fighting on the forefront for stability in the region and has also been cooperating with all the stakeholders including Afghanistan.

Secretary Defense Lieutenant General Alam Khattak briefed about the support given to Afghan government by Pakistan.

Meanwhile, US officials have also come forward in order to tone down the tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan after this recent tide of terror attack in Afghan capital Kabul. Afghan government has been contacted and advised to continue the peace process.

We too acknowledges the civilian Government but that is not acceptable to Pakistani army.

I think that you should develop the railway line with an objective to travel any part of Pakistan within 12 Hours. I.e From Northern part to Baluchistan.

Provided we learn it from Pakistan.

What do you mean? The US is mostly commending Pakistan's anti-terrorist campaign.

Last time I checked all the civilian govt did was give a thumbs up for the operation AND that too was done after several major terrorist attacks. What makes me even confused is that your acknowledging the civilian government's "efforts" even though the ruling party has had a history of romance with several sectarian groups who in turn have had a history of romance with terrorist organisations. Apart from that "effort", every inch of land taken back was taken back by the military and every terrorist killed was killed by the military. I think this is just a cheap Indian attempt to fling some spicy defecation, to be honest.

Well sadly the law of the world is no matter what good happens it comes from the govt....coz its democratic
