Thats strange. two turkish military attache who were stationed in greece boarded a ferry yesterday from greece to italy. RI TV said one is attache for navy and the other for army.

They say they arrived with entire family and propably ask for asylum.

I dont understand why they come here when they were already in greece?

Italy is well known for harboring terrorists, they probably felt secure in Italy.

Until 1998, Öcalan was based in Syria. As the situation deteriorated in Turkey, the Turkish government openly threatened Syria over its support for the PKK.[41] As a result, the Syrian government forced Öcalan to leave the country, but did not turn him over to the Turkish authorities. Öcalan went to Russia first and from there moved to various countries, including Italy and Greece. In 1998 the Turkish government requested the extradition of Öcalan from Italy.[42] He was at that time defended by Britta Böhler, a high-profile German attorney who argued that he fought a legitimate struggle against the oppression of ethnic Kurds.

He was captured in Kenya on 15 February 1999, while being transferred from the Greek embassy to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, in an operation by the Millî İstihbarat Teşkilâtı (Turkish National Intelligence Organization) reportedly with the help of CIA.[43] George Costoulas, the Greek consul who protected him, said that his life was in danger after the operation.[44]

Just checked his italian episode. Italy did not hide Öcalan. Why do you say that?

Ocalan came from Moscow and landed in Rome. He was arrested on the airport. It was impossible for italy to send him to turkey since turkey still had death penalty in 1999. He was placed in a house outside rome and protected by police. Italy forced him to leave the country but no country wanted him so our PM prepared to sue Ocalan for terrorism in italy but heleft then and italy was glad it could get rid of this.

Sorry Sinan but what you said does not represent the truth. You said like we protected and hide him when all we did was trying to get rid of him according to our laws.

What do you suggest? That we throw our laws over board or what?

The interesting question is how will you react.
