Two police killed in Quetta gun attack

QUETTA: At least two police personnel were killed and another was injured in a gun attack in Quetta on Thursday.

According to initial report, the incident took place under Balochistan Bridge, where two cops in plainclothes came under gun attack.

The unknown attackers opened fire at the policemen killing two of them on the spot and injuring a passer-by.

Bodies and the injured person have been shifted to hospital.

Unknown men kill 2 polio workers in Quetta

Unknown men killed two polio workers in Quetta

According to police, the incident took place in Shalkot where unknown men opened fire on a polio vaccination team which resulted in the death of two lady health workers. An investigation has been launched.

This week a polio immunization drive was being carried out, where in more than 2.4 million children were to be administered the polio vaccine.
