ISLAMABAD: Ruhi Deniz, Turkish Commercial Consellor visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) to discuss ways and means to explore and create joint venture opportunities between the two countries.
He said the Turkish investors were well aware of the fact that there were ample opportunities available to them in various sectors of economy. He said both the countries have marvellous untapped business potential that needs to be realised by maximising the involvement of private sectors of the two countries.
He said Turkey has vast experience of exploiting hydro and other energy sources and both the countries could cooperate in this area on priority basis. He called for more frequent exchange of business delegations so the two sides could have first-hand knowledge of the available opportunities in Pakistan and Turkey.
Zafar Bakhtawari President ICCI said both the countries should further strengthen the mutual trade relations by promoting business relations.
It is the need of the hour to explore the possibility of joint ventures between Turkey and Pakistan. There are tremendous chances of collaboration between Turkey and Pakistan for manufacturing of textile machinery in Pakistan.
We can strengthen our economy by adopting the development and progress of Turkey as a model in numerous sectors especially energy as energy is an important issue for Pakistan’s economic growth.
