Turkey-Azerbaijan Agreed 225 million USD Defence Cooperation

Turkey will provide following:

-107/122 mm rockets
-Firtina Self Propelled Artillery
-Cobra 4x4 Armored Vehicle

according "Dunya" newspaper it will costs around 225 million USD.

With this agreement, First costumer of T-155 Firtina will be Azerbaijan.

I think Turkey has to pause producing T-155 Firtina + Firtina Ammunition Resupply Vehicle to meet the Azerbaijani order. As far as I know, 170th T-155 has been produced for Turkish Land Forces until now.

Finally, we are going to export our T-155 Firtina !!! Azerbaijan had made good choose coz Firtinas really modern and good armored. I know that Tukiye going to develop its own smart bombs like Excalibur ...I hope we will sell to other brother countries ....

T-122 Sakarya is a vehicle mounted artillery rocket system.

T-122 Sakarya is ranked the longest range of artillery rocket in its class. Despite The official range known is 40 km, In 2007/08, T-122 rockets hit the approx. target areas with a range from 46km...

Besides, Azerbaijan will require some Ammunition resupply vehicles along with T-155 Firtina howitzers. At current, The body would be produced by Army factory and Aselsan ammo trasnfer system designed for this program would be integrated on the Firtina chassis...
