Turbine installed at Bhakki Power Plant

The 9HA gas Turbine, imported from France, has been installed at the under construction Bhakki Power plant. The turbine holds the world record for efficiency (62.22%) in power production and is already installed at France's Bouchain power plant. Three Turbines and Generators will form the core of 1180MW plant which is now 50% complete. One of the generator from GE has already been installed at the site as well. The plant is expected to be operation in 2017 and expected to add 750MW to national grid during the summer season and achieve complete operational capacity by the year end.

I guess initially only two turbines will be active third will be installed towards the end of 2017
