Thats a management issue and who does this management? Govt of Pakistan.

When a businessman led PMLN can manage their private business so well, why cant they apply same principles to state business?

Is Turkish Airlines private or semi private? Why cant PIA be modeled like Turkish Airlines? Emirates and Etihad are also majority owned by govt. They are well managed. Having govt ownership does not mean it has to be a mess of PIA magnitude. It all comes down to 'neeyat' (intention). If govt has a good intention, PIA can be turned around.

The idea is to throw away PIA at junk rate to be bought by some PMLN crony through some deal. Like MCB was privatized and landed in the lap of a crony Mian Mansha.

Because the political trolls dont let them to...better for PIA to be privatized or bankrupt and shut down..PIA has been taken over by leftist thugs of all PPP, Socialist and communist mafia..
