Top US media boss classifies 'autocratic news' channels as 'enemies'

The Chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors - the organization overseeing U.S. media directed at foreign audiences - says his organization needs to fight its enemies. And among those are Iran's Press TV, China's CCTV and RT. Political commentator Peter Lavelle says the chairman's statement puts him beyond real journalism.

The U.S. might claim to be a champion of freedom of speech, but not, it seems, if it's coming from Russia, Iran, Venezuela or China. The head of the media organisation which oversees America's international broadcasting, says it must up its game to combat the rise of what he called 'autocratic TV stations'... including this one.

An uncontrol news media, in the name of freedom of press, can be easily mis-used by journalists and editors whose minds are polluted with political, racial, religous malicious intention of causing disturbance.

News are censored for various reason, mainly to prevent disturbances brewing out of control. It is a lie if USA government is not censoring news, they even distort news if that serve their purpose.
