ISLAMABAD - Startling revelations have been made by top anchors regarding an assassination plot against Prime Minister Imran Khan .

The more dangerous part of the plot is that the head of a prominent religious political parties alliance has contacted the TTP terrorists for assassination of PM Khan.

Journalist and TV anchor Sadia Afzaal on Friday night claimed that a renowned religio-political personality of Pakistan has contacted the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to assassinate Prime Minister Imran Khan .

“I cannot reveal the name of that person but it has been stated in a Military Intelligence (MI) report,” she said, adding that this news has been confirmed by “very reliable sources”.

Another female TV anchor Jasmeen Manzoor also made a similar claim stating that there are serious security threats to Imran Khan .

On Friday, Manzoor tweeted: “High placed sources have disclosed that severe security threat to PM Imran Khan . I will also disclose who contacted TTP local groups for planning to assassinate him. May Allah protect him, Ameen.”

The law enforcement agencies have already increased the prime minister’s security after at least nine suspected terrorists were picked up during search operations in the Banigala area where Imran’s personal residence is located.

Until & unless, officials doesn't agree to disclose; the news can only be made about failing an assassination attempt. There are reasons to keep it hidden for a certain period of time. Country cannot afford yet another internal conflict as such where almost, every hostile is seeking for an opportunity to bank upon. If the news turned out be false; under new policy and strong accountability process, these two media persons aren't going anywhere to attribute false claims as such. For the time being, one can get the idea about situation that indeed, an attempt has been thwarted and few were arrested in close proximity of Bani Gala back in days after election.

• Diesal , and his gangsters are openly causing rift in society but they are walking freely

With recent announcement about support at OIC level against the Prophet Mohammad cartoon issue will no doubt also have send some message to international Spy agencies & Also refusal to attend the UN summit , might also rub some international spy agency groups negatively


We have also seen PML /PPP goons pushing pressure on Imran to travel with minimum protocol , they criticize his helicopter for safety issue and they insist he keeps minimum security

bhai there is only one prominent religious political party alliance. Diesel is the most disgruntled loser who even abused Pakistan as he is father used to do.... He has lost all.... and he has relations with TTP.

He declared because he was out of the power and no more free rides, parliament lodge and Kashmir Committee funds. Not just me but everyone out there including many in Jamat Islami disagreed with him over this approach. The guy is so dubious and never missed a government to not to be the part of the same. I don't like him for the shoddy politics hence, being rejected by masses in last Election.
