One of the entrepreneurs of pop music in sub-continent Nazia Hasan born on 3rd April 1965, the diva got her first break when she was only 15 years old. She was awarded with the film fair award for her song ‘Aap jaisa koi’.
Her first album ‘Disco Dewany’ was released in 1981 which broke all the previous records. This was the beginning of an Era as she topped the music world with hit after hit. Nazia with her brother Zohaib created some classics albums in 1980’s like ‘Boom Boom’, ‘Young tarang’, ‘Hot line’ and ‘Camera Camera’.
She was later married to an Industrialist Ishtiaq Baig in 1995. In 1997, she gave birth to her Son Areez Hassan.
Her fans felt tormented when she was announced with a life threatening disease of Cancer, finally on 13 August 2000 the Queen of Pakistani Pop music died leaving a big space that no one can cover.
