F-16 is not that great. Its not about air shows. Real combat in the future is projected to be BVR at high altitude 400FL+.

With a weapons load and at those altitudes, the F-16 is about par with the Su-30MKI but not so great against the Eurofighter or Su-35s. Would be dangerous to your health against the Su-57.
