This was an internal show to the US citizens that Saudi Arabia is buying US products and investing in joint projects, both in the US and KSA..there is nothing as "giving some of their wealth"..there is buying and selling involved in commercial (be it military, industrial or services) transactions.. otherwise everyone who buys something is giving his wealth.. there is always a equivalent value in the products being purchased..

Trump is using Bin Zayed of UAE and MBS to fight inflation of US economy. They pay for their Kingdom, not voluntarily, they have to pay.

And on what are you basing your valued opinion.. I am curious..
There is ToT involved in every transaction.. and that is where the Saudization come along.. but mastering ToT and producing better products takes some time, meanwhile there are weapon procurements until they can be produced locally.. where have you seen the Saudi plan falling apart? Every recent action ..be it in Egypt, England or this start of a 3 weeks visit to the US all show more consolidation of the localisation plan, rather than it is falling apart.. which seems to be more of a bad wish than ground realities..

Starting with setting up and directing the middle east office for a major petrochem supplier, managing a multi million contract within Saudi for their “biggest” company... and dealing with complaining engineers, scientests and technicians who cant get anything they need since the new policy.
Not to mention the many many Saudis I meet who in the US( where they can have free speech) cite complete dumb dumbs appointent in major business decision making positions instead of actual qualified people.

So yes, I do have the authority to make that statement.

When you buy over priced US products , and agree to pay consulting rate for $500/hr to US consultants then all is good for US-Saudia relations.

And same with the Astronomical price for nominal weaponry being sold to Saudi
