The Instability in Pakistan & Afghanistan: How the US & India Benefit the Most

Since the Taliban takeover, the situation in Afghanistan has continued to deteriorate to the point where the country is facing a humanitarian crisis and threats from the Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP).

On the other hand, its neighbor, Pakistan, has experienced an increase in terrorist attacks perpetrated by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Amid the political crisis in Pakistan, these attacks have soured Pak-Afghan relations. The author, Sarmad Ishfaq, notes that the continued instability in Pakistan and Afghanistan and their strained relations benefit none other than India and the United States.

It indeed does and even a success in Afghanistan is being slowly turned into a defeat. All because of our babus, who think they are aql e kul. Or maybe they are compromised mostly and working for foreign cause.
I still criticise IK policies and conduct in govt but we all know the alternate are no better so we needed stability. A patriotic establishment in such a scenario would enforce stability if required and work to control Afghanistan, support them, train them, help them fight ISKP and eliminate TTP. It would give Pakistan more control and influence in Afghanistan and bring peace and stability in the region, bringing economic prosperity. Instead our military is drooling for american bases and alienating taliban. Its like they dont want peace and stability and keep derailing a political democratic evolution.

how can you "help" them fight their own? you know what I mean?

Dozens have died on our borders, if anything establishment has shown lots of restraint (which people on this very forum have criticized them for)

TTA and TTP itself are made up of many groups each, well known fact, there is always space. Showing restraint, angering ppl and then air strikes is basically a ploy to fan hatred, exactly what modi does. A more proactive approach would have been better. Afterall it is in our interest to stabalize the region, bring peace and enhance economic activity. But let alone Afghanistan, it seems some ppl dont even want stability inside Pakistan.

There wont be any hatred once business flourishes and ppl make money. Its like, we could achieve so much but instead we go opposite and ruin things. The regional arc from Caspian sea to gawadar should have been achieved and Pakistan should have been a regional power. We can still work for it but need sincere and patriotic leadership, peace and stability.
