On January 2, 2023, BYD (01211.HK) announced that the sales volume of new energy vehicles in December 2022 was 235,200, compared with 93,900 in the same period last year; the cumulative sales in 2022 were 1,863,500, a year-on-year increase of 208.64%. In terms of output, the output of new energy vehicles in December 2022 was 235,200, compared with 92,000 in the same period last year, and the cumulative output in 2022 was 1,877,000, a year-on-year increase of 209.17%. In addition, BYD also disclosed that the company will sell a total of 11,320 new energy passenger vehicles overseas in December 2022. In December, the total installed capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries was about 11.152GWh, and the cumulative installed capacity in 2022 was about 89.836GWh.

BYD is expected to sell 3 million vehicles this year (2023), and the average price of BYD electric vehicles in 2022 will be 178,000 yuan

I checked BYD: sales of new energy passenger vehicles were 1,857,379 (sales of pure electric vehicles were 911,140, a year-on-year increase of 184%; plug-in hybrid sales were 946,239 units, a year-on-year increase of 247%
