The Western fascination of shielding Iranian asylum seekers so that they can bash the Iranian regime by telling their "horror story". The guy was wanted in Iran for crimes, also was on bail for murder, sexual assault and 40 other incidents.

Australia wanted to use that guy for propaganda purposes, e.g. look we help a poor Iranian who fights for his human rights and what not but it turned out to be shooting in its own foot. But clever as the US-led propaganda machinery is, they turned that incident into Muslim terror. The problem is, we have the internet and can find out that that guy has always been a criminal psychopath who has been on the wanted list back in Iran.

He was let in because he managed to show himself as a part of a political opposition , this is not the only case , a year ago a member of a rock band in new york shot and killed the other three members and then took his own life ; for this sydney guy it might have been a little different , maybe they were making fun of his muslim background or his sister lately

The problem is not really that simple.

Here in Sydney, people are looking at the incident upside down and inside out. Many people wanted answer but not just put blame on anyone or anything.

I don't know what other hear about this in your own Network TV, but out here, we do not even know if Monis was religiously motivated. Many here speculate because he is an Iranian and He is a Muslim, then this must be an Terrorist Attack from Islam extremist. But when you look closer, there are none point to Islamic believe. He did not make any religious demand, and for all we know, he could have looking for an out with a big bang, seeing he is being charged and on bail in local (not Iranian) court.

Most People in Australia do not jump to conclusion until more light were shed and we know more about his motive behind this attack. But if you have to point the finger, then most in the community put the blame on the Police and NSW DPP.

The man have 2 arrest warrant, 1 with accessories to the murder of his ex-wife, the other is 40 count of Sexual Assault. Yet his movement are not restricted and no one, NOONE actually know what he has been doing? Somebody should have tailing this guy, not because he is an asylum seeker, or he is Muslim or he is an Iranian, but simply because he have 2 case against him and he is on bail.

Anyone can enter Western countries nowadays under the guise of persecuted asylum seekers from Syria, Somalia, etc... Even wanted criminals, rapists, murderers, and extremists of all kind. Whether this is due to some kinda gov.t conspiracy or not, it leads to the same issue: loose immigration policy.

The U.S told Australia to give this guy asylum, and then forced Australia to look away from the criminals acts he committed against other Australian citizens, to then insist that he be given bail by their courts, and subsequently propped him up to attack innocent Australians?
