Note: The sword of Ali in this picture is not Zulfikar, this is a ceremonial sword of him when he was elected to be the Caliph of Islamic Empire.

MASHALLAH, Turkey is still keeping the Glories of Muslim Empire.

Are there any swords in existence that were positively known to be used by the Prophet Mohamed? Is there a museum somewhere that has artifacts (clothing, cups and bowls, etc.) that were used by Prophet Mohamed?

Yes, there are 8 of the 9 Swords of Prophet Muhammed(PBUH) is in Topkapi Palace, Turkey. The 9th one is in Cairo, Egypt. I opened separate thread "Some items belonging to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)". Take a look. Thanks ...

Yes there are items that people claim to having been used by the Prophet (PBUH) i.e. cloths, turbans, etc. But I don’t think all of them are legitimate.

Judging from the highly ornamented pommels, cross-gurads and the scabbards, I am skeptical that they belong to the first four caliphs. They would rather sell such expensive swords and deposited the money in the bait-ul-maal. May be they were decorated much later by the people who were possesing these sword or maybe they were gifts or war-booty (maal ghanimat).

WaAllah alam bil sawab.
