Transgender military restrictions to continue
The Supreme Court has allowed the Trump administration to limit transgender people from serving in the military while the legality of such a plan continues to be debated in lower courts.

The court voted 5-4 in favor of issuing a stay on efforts to block a plan to restrict transgender people’s ability to serve in the military, meaning the plan can be implemented.

The dissenting justices were Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor.

An original Trump adminstration plan to completely block transgender people from serving from the military was blocked by a federal judge.

i agree with this particular opinion : that western militaries and intel circles may be ready (or not) to include gays and bi-sexuals as their employees, but probably not yet transgenders.
gays and bi-sexuals have only been allowed in those professions for how many decades of the entire thousands upon thousands of years of inter-regional wars between nations on Earth, which i recon started in earnest for sure once we're able to produce things like swords at least, as that introduced the variables 'armor' and 'weapon production capacities' into such calculations, which i believe is a significant step beyond 'travelling' and 'fighting eachother as groups' to be considered relevant in my comment here.

Trump would've announced such a public discussion just like that without it being the professional opinion that is shared by enough from the various commands (political, military, intel, of the US) that he currently controls,
in the first place.

And the US Supreme Court mentioned here is a diversly educated group of people who are paid to, and entrusted with, full-filling the responsibility as independent oversight for all things concerning the future of the US,
if and whenever such independent oversight is sought by Americans themselves,
i know that much.
