The other day i was watching some show on tv in which a guy says that those who commit suicide islam doesnt allow their namaz e janazah to convene. Is this true?

I do understand that in islam suicide is a huge sin which is often called nearly unforgiveable, though one still doesn't know whether a suiciding person could still make it to heaven or not cause Allah is forgiving. i also understand why its so terribly detested because suicide means losing hope in Allah and islam teaches humans not to ever give up where a lot of emphasis comes on concept of Tawakkul ,which sadly has been fast fading amongst muslims of this age.

But having read about partition events since childhood i have always wondered about muslim women who committed suicide to escape rape from hindu and sikh marauders, does this type of suicide or suicide by women who kill themselves to avoid getting forcefully married to someone against their choice also fall in the same category as that of other suicides where people simply give up before pressures?

I mean can we say that in this case of suicide there was no way out for those women except choosing to die to save honors ?

I am asking from islamic point of view ,not any other, so those who dont have understanding of Islamic concepts avoid commenting.

If there is a risk of rape, or getting into the enemy hands where they can extract precised information during the torturous interrogation. Although religious scholars still restrict this and consider this as suicide. It is alleged that ISI agents were given suicide pills composed of Cyanide Poison in case they were caught by the enemy while operating in India during the 70s and 80s. I repeat, it's still not permissible according to the Ulema and Shariat.

Although if there is a situation like where you're allowing yourself to die to save multiple lives. Just take a rubber boat, its drowning and you let yourself into the sea so others are safe just if your load takes off. That won't be haram since its considered sacrifice not suicide. Same goes for a soldier who asks his team to proceed ahead leaving him behind so he can somehow pin down the enemy following them. That's also considered sacrifice despite the fact that he knows that he'll be dead. This situation is called
Benevolent suicide

Although Allah knows the best.

Quoting from another website below regarding the Ghusl and Namaz e Janazah.

"It is considered a fard kifaya [communal duty] upon Muslims to wash and shroud a person who commits suicide as well as to bury him in a Muslim cemetery. This is because he is a Muslim and is subject to the general rulings that apply to deceased Muslims. Shams Al-Din Al-Ramly cited in Nihayat al-Muhtaj that there is a unanimous agreement that washing, shrouding, and praying over a deceased and burying him are all considered fard kifaya. This is based on the command found in authentic transmissions pertaining to those who die either due to suicide or to other reasons."

"I heard Imam Sadiq (as) saying: "Whoever kills himself purposely is in the fire of hell, abiding therein forever."
