As far as the stealth technology goes as far the anti stealth technologies follow.
So what is the point other than adding new design tech to warplanes and radars to track them down?
Can they hide from HR satellites ?
It is just not realistic, since they have to use radar themselves, be it active or passive.
I will stick to my conclusion that it is a game of milataro- industrial Dimensions.
That 'water curtain thing' worked pretty damn good. Radars do not like water. However, a calm body of water have a different radar signature than an excited body of water. Note: The word 'body' here is meant to be a section of the surface INSIDE a radar beam as the beam traverse across the greater 'body' of water. So it is possible that an alert operator can distinguish the difference between calm and excited surfaces as the beam sweeps across the sea. Possible because not all operators are equally trained and experienced. Automatic algorithms can be inadequately programmed. It is only because of budgetary reasons that we have not pursue this tactic as aggressively as we like. Else I would not be in semicon manufacturing today.I would like gambit and penguin's view on water curtain thing.
