Special Branch Punjab going through massive expansion

I work in a university where one of the students has applied for job in Special Branch Punjab. For first time Special Branch is going through massive expansion and they are recruiting people from outside Police Force. As for start there are 1000 posts which would be increased in near future. Interesting thing is Army is monitoring this expansion work and ISI and MI would help Special Branch Punjab in developing entire structure and also train their people. Finally some sense is being shown I hope they also establish their own Forensic Labs and also Cyber Units and other modern branches.

Organization

The organization is headed by an officer of the rank of Additional Inspector General of Police. He is assisted by four Deputy Inspectors-General of Police and a number of Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Deputy and Assistant Superintendents and other staff. For administrative and operational purposes, the organization is divided into nine regions, each headed by an officer of the rank of Senior Superintendent or Superintendent of Police. It has field offices in all districts of the Punjab.
