QUETTA: Frontier Corps troops foiled on Tuesday an attempt to smuggle fertiliser using trucks carrying supplies for Nato forces in Afghanistan.
The truck driver and cleaner were arrested and the vehicle was impounded.
Sources said that the fertiliser was hidden in a sealed container along with other Nato supplies.
Commandant of the Pishin Scouts Col Asad Shahzada said that FC soldiers had been alerted beforehand about the smuggling attempt.
