Bahasa Indonesia and Urdu are two languages from different families which happen to have a lot of common vocabulary through Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, and a few other languages. This language challenge will be between Ayesha, an Urdu speaker from Lahore, Pakistan, and Monica, an Indonesian speaker from Jakarta, Indonesia.

omg, there are quite a lot of similarities. I wonder if the grammar is different?

Indonesian language grammar is very easy. In Essence it uses Subject-Verb-Object to form a sentence. There are not much grammar on it. It is the easiest language to learn.

My French colleague from Alstom France used to work in Indonesia for power station project. As with average French, he dislike speaking in English, so he would normally speak in Bahasa Indonesia to the locals here. Bahasa Indonesia is quite similar to Bahasa Malaysia, so there is no communication problem with Malaysians.

And he speaks very fluently, it shows that Bahasa Indonesia is easy to learn.
