Should Pakistan go towards Elections or bear another breakdown through martial law or techno government backed by army?

Yes = for Elections

No = for Army take over/intervention/martial law

.
Military Intervention at this stage shall trigger massive protests throughout the country and might even, may God fobid, divide Pakistan. This time it isn't gonna be merely a yet another breakdown.

good day monsieur lèader :)

Based my reading of journal/articlè online and my news source is aljazzera and france24. I think it will be better if UN and neutral state observers gets involved with this election as there are concerns of vote rigging in the international community. However I do not understand why you would want the armforces of pakistanie republic to get involve, there job is to guard the countries interest not depose the supreme commandre in chief, which is president zardari in this case.

I had to create this thread because of the stupid mass media, they are presenting as if Qadri is doing this for democracy.... he is here to sabotage the system at this transitional period....totally nonsense going on, these handful 000s of people are of no match...and certainly not having any public opinion with them....

hope this drama fails... and it will fail.... inshAllah.... glad that Zardari is in Bilawal house...

You believe, military intervention after elections.. will not trigger any thing!

You simply need common sense, to see that trouble will be bigger ... when one or more parties clash with each other.

Separation of Bangladesh is an example.

IMO, better late than sorry, and we are late because of deception Khan.

Ignoring the sentiments of biggest chunk of people and bringing same people, with new title is going to like making fool of people in the name of demoncracy.

I dont want democracy to be derailed by army yet again, but the Clerk Tahir ul Qadri is a stooge of military who has brought some handful of 000s of people from his cult to destabilize the government... the army is backing him to take over....

I want to establish that we reject military intervention !!!

I agree with you on some point even though I prefer Imran khan to come in power, but the problem is can he really win the elections under the present circumstances, I agree with TUQ there needs to be a clean electoral system before the elections are held, so the general elections are held free and fair and no vote rigging.

Well, it's like they, NEVER underestimate your opponent. Although this religiously motivated crowd of 50,000 doesn't represent a nation of 180 Million, but 50,000's still not a negligible figure, especially should they resort to violence. As for Media, i think we all know that Media's loyalties lie with money, irrespective of where that money comes from.

So TUQ has stolen the thunder of Imran Khan.

Now youth votes gets divided and biggest beneficiary would be PML N.

So people get ready for Nawaj Sharif to be next PM.

Though I still wish Imran Khan to be next PM.

I vote for votes and election.

These people calling for inquillab don't know much about politics or economics, they expect democracy to yield results before it runs it's course properly.

In fact, they don't seem to know why they march.
Please for the love of God keep a cool head and don't let our 4-5 years of sacrifices under Zardari govt go to waste.

If Pakistan is to progress and an opt for long term stability, democracy is the way forward.
No calls for revolution will change anything for the better.

The way to do it is through the ballots!

Who is asking democracy to run short? Even if has to run short few months... it does not reset all the good work of 4years 11months,,,, If one year of democracy was better than martial law than people will never ask for martial law.

Neither, it is a insurance which needs maturity.. any thing run by mature people shall be mature from beginning.

You conveniently hear democracy when Zardari and his Son mention it but when dr. Qadri is shouting democracy.. you fail to notice?

Dr. TQ is infact representing democracy.. he is asking to make elections transparent and fair... upholding constitution in true spirit.

If you believe that we had democracy in last five years.. than it is matter of grave concern that meaning of democracy have changed in Pakistan.. to corruption, killing, selling souls, no accountability of spending, building foreign bank accounts and estates...

obviously backing by the military would make even 10 men standing there a great threat to government in our country...

Apart from Zial Ul Haq, I beleive Pakistan has the best time as a Islamic power in military wise and economical sense under Military rule Only...I am not sure if I am wrong, i think Pakistan has progressed significantly under Musharaf regime...
