To the best of my knowledge... There were reports that india was funding 'two' such projects where the akulas were to be completed using indian money.
However, so far it seems to be a rumour that a second sub will be leased.
Add to it the fact that Three Indian Nuclear subs are being constructed at a fast rate...
Which is our primary weapon.
Primary cos akula, is here mainly to give first hand experiance of running nuclear subs before the indian sub is ready.
