Saudi govt to further improve haj facilities

KARACHI - The Saudi Arabia government has planned to improve their existing services and facilities for the pilgrimages. Talking to newsmen here, Fawad Amin Katib, a leading Saudi based hujj service provider to hujjaj from South Asia, said the Saudi government has planned a train service between Medina and Makkah, which is likely to begin in 2014. Mr Katib is on visit to different cities of Pakistan. He said a train service between Medina and Arafat was already functioning which has significantly reduced the travelling time of pilgrimages. He said no major untoward incident occurred during or after the pilgrimages this year except few minor traffic accidents. Amin Katib praised Pakistani pilgrimages for their cooperative attitude. He mentioned that his company was making the best efforts to provide better services to pilgrimages in future.

The rest areas between Makkah and Madinah needs major improvements , I cant understand how we in PAkistan have managed to build very convenient rest area on Motorway with air conditioned mosques and good quality food. I simply dont understand why such negligence.

Allah and his prophet told muslims to perform hajj and it is obligatory on all those who can afford it, but you are here telling muslims to not listen to Allah, i'm sure if some one check your IP it will originate from Tel Aviv or maybe Tehran, where Iblees greatest helpers are located, only Iblees challenges Allah (swt) orders, actually even Iblees wouldn't be this balatant when talking to muslims.

The whole country is neglected and need major improvement in every aspect, Actually some what they tried to improve hajj and Umrah facilities more than any thing else for propaganda reasons, any way even hajj facilities, transportations, management is not meeting the minimum required level.

Saudis really need to improve Hajj facilities.

1. Mina is full of bacteria and flu and the dissemination of viri.

It can be organized better.

There are toilet/showers in Mina where the toilet is the shower i.e. there is a shower pipe hanging above.

2. Muzdalifah is crowded and the post-Fajr rush to catch coaches to Mina is horrifying. People argue and come close to fighting.

They could in the long term invest in a tram from Muzdalifah to Mina and electronic cards for each Hajji in each group which will work in designated tram cars, rather than the complete chaos that there is now.

3. Jamrat is still very dangerous from what I saw, I was only in the lowest floor though, underground.

The Saudi authorities really need to get their act together and consult with management/engineering specialists be they from Japan or the west or anywhere suitable to organize this.

4. I don't want to sound too harsh though, the Saudi authorities must be congratulated on keeping the Masjid an Nabawi in Medina in very good condition with 24 hour cleaning and maintenance.

All Muslims should co-operate and help the Saudi authorities as much as they can.
