They go to a test facility before being inducted and serial production. It's just a formality every new plane goes through.

An initial batch of eight aircraft was completed by the Novosibirsk factory in 2004.[25] In March 2006, Russia's Minister of Defence Sergei Ivanov announced the purchase of the first 5 pre-production Su-34s for the Russian Air Force. In late 2008, a second contract was signed for delivery of 32 aircraft by 2015.[10] A total of 70 aircraft were to be purchased by 2015 to replace some 300 Russian Su-24s, which were then undergoing a modernization program.[11]

They'll probably end up ordering 50 Su-57 to replace 300 Su-27 and Su-30 by 2025 to 2030. 1 Su-57 replaces 6 Su-27 / 30. It's highly efficient.

Not really. Britain built only 6 Type 45 destroyers in addition to 2 carriers. Europeans these days don't spend much money on military. They are basically welfare states. Russia included. Anyway, 60 Su-57 is more than enough. There is no war in the foreseeable future between European countries.

Yes it does. France only has 110 Rafale in the air force. Russia population two times France population but 1 Su-57 as efficient as 4 Rafales so they only need 60 Su-57 anyway. Like I said. European countries are weak welfare states. It's not like Russia needs a powerful military. They rather spend money on welfare and social services.
