Road Trip to Mahodand Lake

I took this image of Mahodand Lake during a trip in late 90s, apart from some other tourists, the only thing visible was some wild horses.....but sadly lately a lot of tea stalls and snack shacks have cropped up all over chopping up the prime pine trees for wood to burn the stoves for cooking. It's an eco disaster, destroying trees and polluting the environment with all the smoke being generated.
There also seems to be excessive fishing from the lake for the much famous local wild trout.

Unfortunately uncontrolled construction are ruining these beautiful places. Mahodand and kumrat both will be destroyed in a decade or two. Kalam used to be beautiful but now kalam is a overcrowded town full of hotels.
This moron PM only talks and doesnt act, govt need to control the construction and commercialization.
