Record of Metro Bus Project and properties of the citizens is safe

LAHORE: A spokesman of LDA while clarifying about the tragic incident of fire erupted in LDA Plaza Egerton Road has said that the record of metro bus project is completely safe in the office of TEPA situated at Lytton Road and was not damaged. Moreover, all record of this project is also available with the NESPAK Consultant, he added. He said that Metro Bus Authority has made recruitments of the staff for metro bus system.

The spokesman further said that the record relating to properties of the citizens is safe in the office of LDA situated at Johar Town and no damage was caused to it. Therefore, citizens need not worry in this regard, he added. He said that the offices of Administration, Finance, Coordination, Public Relations, Education, Law Affairs and Engineering Wing of LDA are situated in LDA Plaza Egerton Road. He said that Administration offices are situated at 8th and 9th storey of the plaza. Therefore, this impression is baseless that the fire was ignited by any officer under a conspiracy, he denied.
