Rape & punishment: Should rapists be castrated?

NDTV big fight debating an interesting suggestion by Madras high court judge to deal with rape of children.

Well castration alone is not sufficient. In Islam, the punishment for fornication/adultery is 100 lashes and since rape is much worse than fornication, the punishment for this should not be less than death. Anything on top of it can be added like castration or entire removal of penis and providing a urinal hole etc.
