Can relate similar moves with Krav Maga.

I'm also very sceptical.

No effort is made by the instructor to move out of the line of fire in case the attacker fires his weapon.

Also, what if the attacker is moving a bit more and slightly more out of range - as any sensible attacker would be?

If I'm holding a gun to an unarmed target, I'm going to use to my advantage the invention of projectile ballistic warfare and actually stand a few metres back so my target can't swing at me.

I think there are definite ways to counter guns pointed at you but you have to train more realistically.
