Rangers arrest 28 hardened criminals

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh has arrested 28 hardened criminals including Lyari gangsters and criminals affiliated with political groups during targeted raids and snap checking in different areas of Karachi, said a statement on Sunday.
It said that Pakistan Rangers Sindh conducted targeted raids in Meera Naka, Gulshan-e-Bonair, Ahsanabad, Dawood Challi - Landhi, FC Area, Gulshan- e- Ghazi, Lyari, Korangi, Khosa Goth, Baloch Para Lane areas.

The statement said that snap checking was also carried out in Baldia Town, Nazimabad, Jodia Bazar and Football Stadium - Lyari areas.

The weapons of different types were also recovered from the arrested persons.
