Rafael unveils new 'ImiLite' ISR system​

JERUSALEM (BNS): Israel's Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has recently unveiled a new intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance system called ImiLite at the ongoing Land Warfare Conference in Australia.

ImiLite - new ISR Command and Control Exploitation System, is a cost-effective intelligence system designed to receive, process and exploit multiple standalone imagery video and other intelligence data in a centralised and unified way.

"ImiLite's advanced ISR exploitation capabilities provide defense and police forces a leading edge in dealing with today's intelligence collection and processing demands," Haim Jacobovitz, corporate vice president and general manager of Rafael's Network-Centric Warfare Sector, was quoted as saying in the company news release.

ImiLite's multi-source data integration and automation capabilities improve the efficiency of utilising available collection and exploitation assets. The system GIS capabilities provide immediate accessibility to relevant imagery and intelligence data, thus shortening the ISR collection and exploitation cycle.

The ImiLite is based on Rafael's combat-proven ISR and C4I systems already in service worldwide. ImiLite is designed for use by Defense forces (air, ground) and police forces exercising various observation means for border patrol or coping with urban crime.

That's a tight system they got out with. I mean they've such a small territory and they take so many precautions. Hats off to their leaders who are at least a 100 times more sincere than any leader in India.

This system for sure will find its way in here and Israelis never charge too much for their products .. maybe this will come up in discussions during the arms expo which is coming up later , here.

Hype in what way ? You mean you doubt about israeli system or you doubt about indian interst ? Well we already have samyukta EW and many car 3d radar deployed generation and they contain many israeli subsystem.So its not to purchase these with reasonable price "Sone pe shuaga"
