Things are really messed up in Pakistan when it's citizens elect Hakim Ali Zardari's son Asif Ali Zardari aka Mr.10% as president. And he is not a sole example. Several other families who have been enemies of ideology of Pakistan and Quaid e Azm are for generations roaming hall of power.

They intentionally keep awaam jahil and paindu so they can keep fooling them with colorful flags other than Pakistani flag and by taking turns and playing good cop/bad cop. And by shaming any force that talks about one true Pakistani flag. Only force that does so is military(they aint total angels either). And the military is bashed by lifafas controlled by CIA,RAW,NDS and MOSSAD this especially peaked during 2005-2013.

I have never felt that any sane Intelligence Agencies would tell someone that "Hey! We're CIA, we are going to fund you, keep it up!".
They would always employ other means to fund, never directly.

With that being said, I think personally that more than corruption, it is incompetency that is ruining Pakistan. Look at Russia, it's riddled with corruption but is doing great. Same for China to an extent. Same for Former Soviet states. Even Saudi Arabia, where it's really state sanctioned corruption for Royalty.

True, the educated, intellectual and civilised aura that Pakistanis used to have is withering away and people are turning into social predators.

The real tragedy is that our military dictators, like Musharraf, who could have ended this rot forever, also chose to become petty politicians and persisted on with a broken system rather than institutionalize meaningful reform to totally revamp the civil service, governance structure, etc.

Democracy and Dictatorship both have let us down greatly. We needed a visionary dictator and didn't get one.

Not executing land reforms and eliminating feudalism was a huge mistake. In fact this should've been done during the martial law eras
