PTI terms PM's invitation non-serious
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) termed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s invitation to Imran Khan – to sit and resolve issues – non-serious, Dunya News reported.
Responding to Prime Minister’s invitation to Imran Khan, PTI spokesperson said that the way Prime Minister invited is not appropriate and serious.
Spokesperson said that PTI will put forward its demands in front of Prime Minister and the whole nation on May 11.
PTI maintains that it waited for one whole year but its demands were ignored. They said that neither Supreme Court provided them justice, nor did the election tribunal proceed any further.
Spokesperson said that PTI is forced to hold protest and demonstrations after one year of waiting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited Imran Khan to sit with him, have a cup of tea or coffee and hold talks to try to resolve issues.
Exactly one year after general elections 2013, opposition parties are gearing up to hold massive demonstrations against the ongoing crises, mismanagement, bad governance and alleged election rigging. Major opposition parties including PTI, Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT), Jamaat Islami (JI), Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) have hopped on board except for the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) which is the largest opposition party and led the previous government
