Two civilians were injured after the armies of India and Pakistan on Monday exchanged heavy gunfire and mortar shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The firing began in Saujiyan sector at around 1:35 pm today and was going on when the last reports came in.
Two civilians, Uzma Bi, daughter of Muhammad Rafiq and Hafeeza Bi, daughter of Muhammad Akram - both residents of Gali, were injured in the shelling.
The oil reserves of the Border Security Force (BSF) caught fire due to the shelling.
