LAHORE (INP): Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has decided not to award ticket to the sitting Senators for the National and Provincial Assemblies elections.
Party sources said on Monday that several senators had applied for the tickets to contest the elections but they have been told by the leadership that a decision has been taken in principle not to award tickets to the Senators.
It is worth mentioning that Senators Sardar Zulfikar Khosa, former Deputy Speaker Senator Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal and Zafarullah Dhandla had expressed their desire to contest the general elections.
