The Report is self-explainatory, so ultimatly They are now open fearlessly...and now they bypass all "principle of ethics", "commitment of develpoment", no "matter of justice" etc, which they have shown till yesterday!.... it shows that, they will do any thing wrong as did in past!.......such step is enough to understand.... that, the thing will be the remain same as previous ..even worst then previous......."Poot Key Paon palney mein nazar aa rahein hein"

ISLAMABAD: The PML-N is going to table a written request in the National Assembly today (Monday) seeking that the benefits of the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) should not be restricted only to the top guns of the ruling elite and its scope should be expanded to cover all the "corrupt" officials dismissed during the last eight years of Musharraf's rule.
The PML-N move appears to be an endorsement of the controversial NRO and a major shift in its policy as Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif had opposed the ordinance when it was promulgated.
The two top beneficiaries of this controversial ordinance are PPP Co-chairperson Asif Zardari and PM's Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik. In addition, thousands of accused workers of the MQM were also given clean chits by the Sindh government after scrapping two-decade-old cases relating to their alleged involvement in murders, kidnappings, armed robberies etc.
Earlier, a call attention notice was moved in the NA by three parliamentarians of the PML-N for a debate in the House to force the government to expand the range of the NRO to all those government officers who were dismissed or sacked from their jobs in the last eight years on charges of corruption.
In this regard, PML-N MNAs Mohammad Hanif Abbasi, Abid Sher Ali and Barjees Tahir have submitted the motion in the House. According to the sources, this is a major policy shift, as in the past when the NRO was promulgated and the much-criticised "understanding" was brokered between Benazir Bhutto and General Pervez Musharraf in October 2007, both Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif were quick to condemn it on the grounds that it would simply promote corruption in society. Shahbaz Sharif was more vocal as he announced that he would not seek any benefit from the courts under the NRO.
Shahbaz was of the view that he would personally seek justice from the courts of the country instead of submitting any request to exploit the clauses of this controversial law. Shahbaz Sharif even preferred to use his personal influence with the parents of some young men who were killed in a police shootout and were pursuing a case against him in the anti-terrorist court in Lahore.
But now all of a sudden, PML-N members seem to have decided to exploit the benefits of the NRO for their own sympathisers in the bureaucracy who were dismissed on corruption charges in the past.
Talking to The News, MNA Abid Sher Ali confirmed that he along with two fellow MNAs had moved a call attention notice in the House on the issue of the NRO, which would be debated in the House on Monday. He justified the tabling of this motion by saying when the top guns of the country were given benefits under this law, why should the low-ranking officials who were politically punished in the last eight years not be given the same benefits. Abid said hundreds of innocent government officers were targeted by the military regime and now it was time to restore them to their positions after scrapping cases against them under the NRO. When told that his party leaders had been opposing the NRO in the past, Abid said PML-N leaders did not exploit this ordinance for their personal relief. He said his father Sher Ali faced seven years imprisonment but he too did not ask for any benefit under the NRO.
Talking to The News, Hanif Abbasi said hundreds of political workers were victimised and now the PML-N would request the government to apply the NRO to those people who were still suffering because of their political affiliations. Abbasi said many people had received benefits under the NRO and why should the common political workers not be given any relief.
