QUETTA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Balochistan on Thursday on one-day visit to discussed security situation with the provincial government.
PM Sharif arrived in Quetta along with COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan and MNA Abdul Qadir Baloch.
The prime minister is likely to have meetings with Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch besides discussing law and order situation in the province with senior security officials.
Soon after arriving in Quetta, he paid a visit to Yadgar-e-Shudaa (Monument of Martrys) and offered Fateha. Later, he was given guard of honor.
This is prime minister’s first visit to Quetta after Mastung tragedy last week when over 30 members of the Hazara community died in a suicide attack. – SAMAA
