With Strong backing from Central Government, Indian Army has been tasked to go after militants who recently ambushed and killed 18 Soldiers of 6 Dogra Regiment.
Intelligence inputs suggest militants who were involved in the attacks have already reached their hideouts inside Myanmar and Myanmar Army which in past have helped in flushing out Various Militants groups operating in North-east seems reluctant to pursue any kind of operations against them in deep jungles areas which they are not familiar with .
Para Special operations Commandos of Indian Army will be roped in once Myanmar gives a green signal for operations in their territories. Army is working out detail plans since it is a Third attack on Indian Army Convoy in the region carried out by new umbrella organization which have united small fraction of militants groups to work together to target Indian Army.
Message coming from Indian Army HQ and Center Government task force headed by NSA Chief Ajit Doval and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar is clear that perpetrators of the attack need to be Eliminated and all options of retaliation are been worked up.
