Palestinian doctors in Turkey ‘boycott’ Israeli medicine

ISTANBUL – Palestinian doctors have commenced a campaign aiming at boycotting Israeli medical products in Turkey.

The move was launched by a gathering of Palestinian doctors living in Turkey during a meeting held at the Turkish Medical Association in Istanbul, as the gathering’s chief Mohammad Abu Al-Sheikh gave a presentation in this regard.

Abu Al-Sheikh expounded on the volume of Israeli business in Turkey, and listed the names of Israeli pharmaceutical companies and medicine on sale at the Turkish market, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

He also elaborated the steps to be taken by the Palestinian medical group to promote the anti-Israel campaign, and how to ensure that it would work out

Hold on, as long as there is an equivalent or better one for that medicine, doctors are free to choose which one they will use. But if they don't use Israeli ones even though it's the only treatment for patient then you are right.

It is a matter of principle, the holiness of human life, and also a signal that their sick mind could prevent them from taking actions in different cases.

They should face those actions enlisted in my previous post, also they should be checked out by a psycologist.

Such sickness belongs to radical world, Turkey is not part of that world.

Already companies pay doctors to use the medicine of their brands. These doctors are not banning medicines but Israeli brands. Like Pakistan has no trade relations with Israel and we don't get any medicine of Israeli brands and many other countries also don't get medicines of those brands. This move will help domestic Turkish Medicine industry and means local producers will produce those medicines and increase more jobs in Turkey all Turkish doctors should follow it.

Unfortunately some of the medical products mostly in the field of cancer-MS and other dangerous illnesses are being exclusively produced in Israel. Iran has broken the monopoly of Israeli companies, the same scarce products are being produced in Iran.

You have still missed the point here; this is Turkey with mandatory laws, regulations and order to strictly follow.

The politic hatred of some non-Turks cannot , according to order in Turkey, risk the lives of Turks whose taxes pay the salary of those radicals in the end of the day.

There is no health risks in using medicine from better brands than those Israel provides. Plus it will also help Turkey to get it's domestic medicine industry.

I will praise the move of these doctors to join BDS movement. This is in no way radical don't portray this as wrong. The people who follow BDS are respected world wide and are proud to do so.
