Pakistani Rupee's decline and its causes

Recently some Media anchors have started to invite Ishaq Dar in their shows, asking his advice how to solve the crisis faced by Pakistan due to rapid decline of Pakistani Rupee against the dollar and other world's major currencies.

This week Nadeem Malik and Asma Sherazi have invited Dar on their shows.
Yesterday Dar expressed his wishes that he should be given the responsibilities of running Finance Ministry of Pakistan on a contract, he can bring dollar back to Rs 120.
Following his comments PMLN's Hina Pervaiz Butt has table a motion in Punjab assembly that Dar should be appointed Finance Minister on a Contract.
This is a cruel joke with Pakistan. Instead of demanding his return to Pakistan, these anchors are portraying this fugitive of law as a saviour.

During all the program Asma a known supporter of PMLN kept saying "hoon" giving the impression to the audiences that what Dar saying is true. This is unpardonable habit of Pakistani anchors that they keep saying "Haan" or "Hoon" during the discussions giving the impression to the viewers that the participants are telling the truth.

Dar grabbed the opportunity with both hands and stated that the cases against him and Nawaz are fraudulent, they have served Pakistan.

Without shadow of a doubt, Pakistani media is equally responsible for the vows of Pakistan, with its political elites, judiciary and establishments both military and bureaucracy.

Today, I have twitted to Asma regarding Dar's interview.

One mistake to notify in my twits, I have used the figures for Export and Imports wrongly, it should be the other way around, Imports $59 billions and Export $21 billions. It was just an oversight.

To be fair, she is just interviewing him and presenting his viewpoint as a journalist does so, if he is so awfully lying then he should be easy to rebuke by an economist. Nothing wrong with that.

Current Government has shown nothing observably good for the economy and is always deflecting the faults to PMLN, sad to say. If they think that the damage, if any, is irreparable then they should step down; it's as simple as that, otherwise stop deflecting and start showing what changes have been made by this government for good of economy, so far nothing good can be seen from a common man's point of view.

Brother, if you have seen my recent posts on this topic, I am no friend of Asad Umer. I have criticised him for almost 4 months now. He is useless, he should have known even before taking over. As I and anyone who understand Economy knew. He wasted very valuable time of Pakistan. I will open another thread and explain what mistakes Asad is making. In short he had realised the problem with Balance of Payment and Trade Deficit.
According to the new figures branded only a day ago, (I don't know if the figures are correct) the Deficit has gone down by 80%. If true it is a big development. But Asad has ignored many other indicators and section of the economy while concentrating to curb the imports and trying to increase the Exports, for which he has taken some targeted measures.
Unfortunately, Pakistan's problems are sever, not just one dimensional.

As for Asma, you cannot say that she is blameless and was just interviewing Dar. Through out the program she gave the impressions that Dar is right. IT is criminal for a journalist to do that.
Secondly, have you ever seen in the West a Criminal , a fugitive of law given air time on national TV while refusing to return!!!
Come on mate, this is not acceptable.

This is one of the weakness of the whole Islamic world actually not just Pakistan.

Allah SWT has given us the Best cure of most of the ills of a society in the Holy Quran by forbidding "Interest".
But we have collectively failed to produce a system which is interest free.
Even most of the Western Economist agree that Islamic system could be ideal system if its working are sorted out and implementation is done in proper way.

Allah SWT Gives all of us Hidaya to implement it.
