Pakistani drama serials must follow PEMRA’s new rules. Finally, a new set of rules has been rolled out by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority.
Say No to Vulgarity!
PEMRA recently banned “Jalwa TV” owned by “Apna TV” for showing vulgar content on their channel. A fine was also charged against Hum TV for showing a disputable Telefilm. Along with that, a cartoon on Nickelodeon was also banned for showing images which were inappropriate.
Looks like PEMRA is finally under action, putting an end to all the controversial content!
