Pakistani businessman launching airline in Netherlands

LAHORE: Pakistani businessman Ahmad Azhar wants ‘a dream come into reality’ by launching a Dutch airline up with a Dutch partner in the Netherlands.

Rafey International Airlines (RIA) is established as a public limited company in Holland and will be starting operations soon within months.

The management’s mission is to provide reliable, efficient and courteous service to its passengers at a competitive price and they have visionised to achieve robust and consistent profitability, expand their wings, farther through sustained efficient service.

RIA Managing Director Azhar Ahmad during his visit to Lahore said this was the first ever airline which was offering discount for Pakistani students to study abroad with the only airline dedicated to avoid delay in flights by providing extra plane on board.

He said our fleet comprises of Boeing 747-400 COMBI, Airbus-A330, Boeing 777 (the world’s largest twinjet) with the concrete dedication to provide extra ordinary pleasant and safest journey by using modern technology and well equipped airlines across the world.

Under Rafey International Airlines, the airline has enrolled in the Hague Chamber of Commerce. Rafey International Investments is also holding up the airline must-be equipped with sufficient capital.

We have big plans with the Netherlands and Schiphol, said Ahmad in a meeting in Lahore.

We want to B747-400 and B777’s from Schiphol to include New York, Pakistan, Singapore and Thailand fly. These are combined passenger and cargo flights, he added.

The airline can convert status of any passenger of economy class into business class at the counter of the airline by paying extra charges.

if only the business environment in Pakistan wasnt so disgustingly corrupt and full of locustry
 
who cares if he doesnt invest in pakistan?

You create good environment in your country to invite investment. PIA is bankrupt and you can thank the government(s) for doing corruption. With daily target killings in Karachi, i reckon PIA will have no choice but to move.
