‎Shell Eco-marathon challenges student teams from around the world to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. With annual events first in the Americas, then Europe and Asia, the winners are the teams that go the furthest using the least amount of energy. The events spark debate about the future of mobility and inspire young engineers to push the boundaries of fuel efficiency.

Indians with all their NANO hype still came far below..we may not be a country which produces NANO...but our engineers fare off better.

Pakistan ZIndabad!

But when are you guys gonna translate these concept designs for commercial use like the Nano? That's the crunch point!

There's even a concept car that runs on water invented by an American! But what's the use? It remains as just a concept design that has yet to be commercialized even after 5 years!!

Produce something that gives even 25km a litre and then we'll talk!

Cheers!

Pakistan's problem is the world's most corrupt system, unfortunately Pakistan have no honest leadership othwise the land is gifted with everything.

agreed with OrionHunter.. I believe our industrialist giants must come in front to do funding for such cocept cars.. otherwise when these engineers will graduate will go abroad.. :(

This highlights one important issue, that in Pakistan we have innovation and talent, but no ventures to bring such products to market. I think, we will use this as a learning opportunity, and who knows when these concepts actually become reality.
