Does this imply that Pakistan is leaning toward making a decision to go to the IMF after all?
Poor USA cannot stop IMF because US it's self is in debt of China it don't has any dictating margin in IMF.
Nope it says Pakistan is not going to compromise CPEC for any thing.
It is simple IMF has Chinese yuan and China owns US debt. US cannot dictate anything here.It would be interesting to see what Pakistan's new government decides in this regard. We will all know soon enough.

Well, China owns only a minor portion of US debt, for starters. As I said, Pakistan's decision here would be interesting, whichever way it decides.

Unless there are other countries or institution that are willing to step in, Pakistan will have to go to IMF.
So what if US is in debt to China? What does that have to do with Pakistan going for IMF loan? It's a matter of votes and US is the biggest member of IMF and has the influence to make or break a decision on giving loans to Pakistan. It doesn't matter what China does or does not do.

I am hearing from the grape veins that some money came back due to amnesty where some money was returned against devalued rupee to gain maximum profits.

@Path-Finder I said we are not in situation they wanted us to be in. Nawaz and ishaq Dar did their best to create a situation US wanted but they have failed. Their plan was caught.
This what the news are saying but in actual the finance ministry literally told USA to piss off.
