Why is there a confusion amongst some of the public defence industries of Pakistan in respect of regulatory bodies,
PRECISION ENGINEERING COMPLEX (PEC) is one of the limited suppliers of Precision defene parts, it was once named as the Back Bone of Pakistan Airforce, still, as on today, the precision parts are supplied by PEC to PAC and Karachi Dockyard, even NESCOM is not having such machinery till date. NESCOM badges PEC for production and supply.
Why is it still under PIA? Shouldnt it be regulated under NESCOM or Be part of PAC?
