Like excrement on a stick, Bharat (aka India) is stuck on a few “inaccurate words” which it keeps repeating. Like a broken record New Delhi is trying to make Mumbai into an international event of epic proportions. It is not. There is absolutely no comparison between America’s 911 and Bharta’s 26/11 as she has tried to call it.

The Indian National Congress is between a rock and a hard place. On one side it faces a Nuclear Pakistan, on the other if faces gorwing insurgencies at home which it cannot discuss. Sonia Gandhi wants the USA involved, but at the same time it cannot give all the information to the world community. In the absence of many options, The INC decided to focus on Pakistan. The world community was wondering about the pathetic “dossier” given to Pakistan which included shaving cream, toothpaste and match sticks and a Pakistani phone. If this is evidence then Sherlock Holmes much be turning in his imaginary grave.

So Delhi confirms that terrorists on a sucide mission were very worried about their dental hygiene and looks. Boys growing up in Faridkot also knoew how to read and write the Devanagri script a sript unknown in Pakistan. Amazingly the boys growing up in the heart of Punjab know Marhati and Sanskirt words. The boys could not find Americans in Islamabad or Lahore so they went across oceans to Mumbai? The Bharti story is full of as many holes as Swiss Cheese.

A stolen phone from Karachi with strange numbers does not quite make it into a smoking gun. Amazingly the boys know how to outwit the Indian Blue Water Navy and the Indian Coast Guard by arriving in Mumbai in orange dingy boats. The most amazing part of these superboys is the fact that they were able to get from the shoreline to the hotel with RPGs, Machine Guns, grenades without being accosted by any agency or citizen.

Its gets better.

The boys avoided the main entrance to the Oberoi and avoided the metal detectors there by taking the pantry and kitchen entrance. They thus knew the Oberoi and the Taj well enough to run circles around the much valuted MARCOS commandos (which they had cleverly fooled on the way to Mumbai). They also know how to attack the Jewish Chabad House a location which is not known to most Mumbai residents. The story leaks like a sieve and is laughable.

One last thing.

The boys on a suicide misiion ostensibly trained by the military took their ID cards and passposrts with them–lest their travel plans require two forms of government ID.

What Nonsense!

Bharatis themselves put togehter a list of questions. Some Inexplicable questions for Indian Leaders. Like a broken record Bharatis are repeating something that the West is now tired of hearing. Too busy with its financial crisis, boggled down by the Israeli brutality on Gaza, bogged down by Iraq, and stuck in the Afghan quagmire, the West is not amenable to take on South Asia on its agenda. South Asia: Obama’s new policy: Marshal Plan & end to bombing raids in Pakistan

Bharat has overplayed its cards.

Indian machanations fail. Delhi outwitted. Long term US support for Pakistan . Already there is a colossal realization by the financial markets that Mumbai is not a safe place to do business. The more the BJPdrums up the dogs of war, the more deeply embedded with this paradigm become the norm.

There is an old saying when you throw a pebble in mud, it splatters back. By maligning Pakistan, Delhi receives responses in spades. If Barack Obama is talking about it, it is real. Kashmir has been internationalized. Naxalism and the plight of Indian Muslims is now on the international agenda also. Analysis of Delhi’s bigoted “Bomb Islamabad” syndrome

The trends of International fascism, imperialism and colonialism demand that Muslims should be punished whenever a terror attack takes place any where n the world. Conversely, terrorism is perpetuated by fascist, anti-Islamic forces to kill land torture Muslims as the so-called “suspected terrorists”. The western media, along with their Indian counter-parts, are up on feet to focus on Indian terrorism as part of their anti-Islamic campaign and they want to prove that terrorism in USA was not engineered by them and that there are other terrorists for that. This pretence brings to focus Pakistan and Kashmir, the “usual” players against an innocent India.

Since India harps on the slogan “India’s sept11″, the hidden agenda of Mumbai Nov26 is amply clear to the world: India is focused don a seat in UNSC by enacting similar terrorist act in Mumbai with a lot of high fumes rushing towards the sky. However, at the outset, it seems Mumbai Terrorism on Nov26 is yet another Indian folly to bully the Muslims in India, Pakistan, Kashmir and Bangladesh and elsewhere. Indian media, like the US-led global anti-Islamic ones, have the capacity to hide the truth and point an accusing finger at Muslims. World watches keenly how cleverly India and its media have terrorized the Muslims in the country by inventing terror activities. So many conspiracy theories about the Blasts, as usual, are circulating around while the Indian and other global anti-Islamic media are still inventing more to keep the news hungry masses in good humors to brainwash the global public about the so-called “Islamic terrorism”. Indian media presume it is easy to fool the people by invoking “Islamic fundamentalism” theory on a permanent basis. Dr. Abdul Ruff Colochal.

Many multinationals, already under tremendous financial preissure will be seeking greener pastures. They will all like to sell their products to Delhi, but that is all. Bharat’s future is now as bright as the company it keeps on the hunger index–Burkino Faso.

At the international level, India is using the global consensus on counter-terrorism to advance its broader foreign policy agenda of maligning Pakistan as an irresponsible state and isolating it. The initial data on the attack was provided to the US rather than to Pakistan. When India provided the relevant information to Pakistan on January 5, 2009, the same was sent to a large number of European and other countries. Such a wide circulation of the data before Pakistan examined it was a propaganda exercise.

Another indication of India’s broader political agenda is the statement of India’s prime minister on January 3. He not only asked Pakistan to hand over the Mumbaisuspects but also reprimanded Bangladesh for letting militant groups use its territory for activities in India. Further, India’s plan to send its union home minister to the US with evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the Mumbai attack is another example of how India wants to use the incident.

Nuclear war in South Asia guarantees total and absolute annihilation and mutually assured destruction for India and Pakistan

India is raising the current conflict with Pakistan at the multilateral and global level rather than taking up the matter with Pakistan at the bilateral level. This is in contrast to Indian practice in the past when it objected to Pakistani efforts to raise Kashmir and other bilateral conflicts at multilateral level. Now, India argues that terrorism is a global rather than a bilateral issue and dismisses Pakistan’s offer of joint investigation and its promise to take action on credible evidence.

India’s broader agenda of maligning Pakistan at the international level and isolating it in the comity of nations is not expected to succeed. The US and other western countries do sympathise with India on the Mumbai attack and they want to pressure Pakistan to contain militancy but they do not share India’s agenda of humbling Pakistan. Bharat thought that by playing its cards as the victim it could reverse Barack Obama’s policy of regional engagement and solving the Kashmir issue. Bharat miscalculated the importance of Pakistan to the West’s war in Afghanistan.

By overplaying the terror card, Bharat has affected its own place on the world stage. Once considered a vibrant economy heading towards good goals, now Bharathas bracketed itself with Afghanistan and Beirut. In American minds Mumbai is the same as Kabul and Delhi the same as Baghdad.

Bharat by overusing cliches has proven to the world that Pakistan is not paranoid about Bharati intentions, but that there are serious issues that have to be resolved. By running to papa every day and every week, the West now thinks of Bhrat as the little boy you screamed tiger too many times.

It will not be long before India realises that the US and other western countries have strategic interests in Pakistan with reference to Afghanistan and that they would neither endorse India’s war jingoism nor declare Pakistan a terrorist state.

India’s coercive diplomacy activates defensive religio-nationalism in Pakistan that makes it difficult for the beleaguered Pakistani government to take effective action against militant groups and stay active in the US-sponsored war on terrorism.

The current Indo-Pakistan confrontation will have negative implications for India’s domestic context. It can turn India into a country paranoid about security, which will cause political and economic distortions. While Congress may be adopting a tough attitude with an eye on the next general election due before May this year, jingoism will actually help to strengthen its right-wing political adversaries and Hindu hard-liners like the BJP and the Pariwar. Congress cannot beat them in hard-line religious and narrow nationalist political discourse.

India and Pakistan will not be able to accommodate each other’sconcerns regarding terrorism as long as they do not tone down their rhetoric and go for bilateral dialogue in a constructive manner. India has better prospects of eliminating terrorism and saving Indian society from drifting towards ultra-nationalism and religious extremism by returning to normal interaction with Pakistan, as existed before the Mumbaiterrorist attack. Pakistan will respond positively because this facilitates its desire to contain extremism and militancy inside its own territory. Neither the bellicose banal billowing of Prime Minister Sing, nor the claptrap of Pranab Mukherjee has in way gained any credability for Delhi. In fact none of the major players in the world have changed their major policy initiatives in West or South Asia. As far as policy is concerned, nothing has changed–expect for Bharat’s image.

The year 2008 will be remembered by the financial markets as the year when Bharat fell into disrepute and its economic growth tarnished by the major faux paxof the government and the “government in waiting” both of which have come across as war mongering bigots.
