I used to play poker in my spare time online and in person, and often I'd meet other poker players and catching up today with one of my poker acquaintances, he told me about his year.
He's gone from playing 50$ tournaments online (what I used to play) to turning fully professional in the space of us losing touch.
He's won 289k in the Niagara falls view casino tournament, cashed 65k and 50k in lives events in Vegas, winning the World poker tour player of the series, bought a condo in downtown Toronto, and now follows the WPT around the world with other professional poker players.
