Now, a website in Railway minister Lalu's name

First came Lalu chocolates and then came saloon, followed by cosmetics, film, Lalu toy and fodder. The list is growing.

Now, a website carrying information about Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has been launched by a die-hard fan of Railway minister, www.rashtriyajanatadal.com. Though the site is named after the party, it is dedicated solely to the 'turnaround man of Indian Railways and management guru, Lalu Prasad.'

"Though the site is dedicated to Laluji, the site is named after the party as I could not get a domain on his name," website editor, Sanjay Suman told Hindustan Times over the phone from Agra. Suman said all the domains on the name of Lalu had been booked.

The website editor, however, honestly proclaims that this is not the official site of the RJD. "I'm still to get the right. I have applied before Laluji , Rabri Devi and the party office to allow use of the site. The RJD state president Abdul Bari Siddiqui has invited me for the purpose in November," said Suman, who is a native of Purnia.

The website in Hindi has several links. The site gives a life sketch and political achievements of Lalu and his wife Rabri Devi. The home page has a chapter dedicated on party history and the role played by Lalu Prasad in its formation. It also proudly boasts of giving the first woman chief minister to Bihar.

It also contains the list of MPs and MLAs from Bihar, the RJD officials and the address of the party office besides the details of the Railway Budget 2007-08 presented by Lalu. The photo gallery shows Lalu in different poses, moods and with different personalities.

The Railway Minister has already caught the world's attention with his 'turnaround script' of railways. Even products carrying his name are all set to hit the international market.
