I remember when I was a kid and come home after school, this used to play on TV while I enjoyed a tasty lunch

I'd rather not remember the 90s if it's all the same. The Soviet Union was cracking apart, the Balkans were on fire for most of the decade, the EU forms as a political and economic entity (and gets the shaft from Norway), the UK and Ireland, both top tier Norwegian trade partners were mired in a recession, it wasn't really a good decade for Europe save for some major political evens like the Soviet Union breaking apart and German reunification. On the plus side 1996 is when the first Pokémon games were released, so I guess the decade wasn't all bad news.

but seriously, if it's all the same I'd rather forget about the 90s. Plus I was born in 1990, so I'm not really old enough to remember anyway.
